Revlon, Inc. and its affiliated companies ("Revlon") respects the privacy of every individual who visits this Web site, (the "Site"), and all other Web sites owned, operated or maintained directly or indirectly by Revlon, including, without limitation (the "Revlon Sites"). You may be asked to provide PII (and Revlon may collect PII) for purposes of (i) registering on the Revlon Sites or applying to be a member of  a loyalty program (such as Salon Master), , (iii) contacting us about questions, inquires or concerns, (iv) providing the service or support for which your PII was specifically requested, such as signing-up to receive marketing and promotional communications or participating in a contest, sweepstake, promotions or survey, or (v) applying for a job opportunity. This information is known as “personally identifiable information”. PII includes but is not limited to your name, mailing address, e-mail address, postal address, postal code, telephone number, age, make-up, product and information preferences and other information that alone, or in combination with other information, could be used to identify you. (Please note that Revlon does not collect credit card, debit card or other banking information on the Site, except as set out in this Privacy Policy.) Providing PII to the Revlon Sites is on a strictly voluntary basis, however, if you opt not to provide the Revlon Sites with certain PII, you may be unable to participate in certain promotions or activities provided on the Site or receive product information or other offers.  

Your PII will be held by Revlon for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, for the settlement of any potential disputes which may be raised or otherwise in accordance with legal requirements. 

Registration: On certain Revlon Sites, you may be required to register or log-in in order to access certain portions of the Site. When you register, you may be asked to provide PII such as your first and last name, email address, postal code, and a password that you create in order for us to provide and administer your online account. We may maintain a user profile of each user so that we may customize preferences on the Revlon Site for each specific user, provide a faster method for Web visitors to submit information to Revlon (and receive information back from Revlon), notify users about important functionality changes to the Revlon Sites and, with consent, about new products and services offered by Revlon and special offers that we believe users will find to be valuable, as well as generally allow us to better know our users and possibly tailor any specific features, promotions or other notifications to them.  Loyalty Programs: If you apply to join our Salon Masters or other loyalty program, we collection information such as salon contact information as well as information about your salon and the types of Revlon products used. We use this information in order to verify your eligibility for participation in the program and, if accepted, to administer your participation in the program.

Product Purchases: Our products are sold exclusively through distributors. We collect certain purchase-related (but not payment information) from our distributors. If you are a member of Salon Masters loyalty program, we use this information in order to calculate and administer your rewards. Members of the Salon Masters loyalty program may have the option of using a credit card to pay any remaining balance after reward credit is applied, in which case we collect payment-card related information in order to process the payment.  Contacting Us and Customer Support: In addition, Revlon may collect PII when you contact us with questions, enquiries or concerns or to provide services or support. The PII we may collect includes  your name, email address, mailing address, phone number and other information you provide or that we require in order to respond to you. Revlon uses this information to answer your question and respond to your enquiry or concern and  to provide services or support you request. We may also retain this PII in order to assist you in the future and to better understand and improve our customer service and product and service offerings.

Marketing Communications: From time to time, we may collect certain personally identifiable information (such as first and last name, and email address) to send you email, SMS text messages and other communications about Revlon products, services, promotions or events that may be of interest to you. We may also collect optional information such as your postal code, gender and make-up preferences. We use this information to tailor our communications to you. You can opt-out of receiving promotional email from us by following the instructions in Section VIII. “Opting Out Of Receiving Information From Revlon

Revlon may also obtain PII  from third parties, such as information provided by a co-sponsor of a particular promotion, which Revlon may then use for marketing and advertising activities in accordance with the consent you have provided. 

Contests: If you enter a contest, sweepstakes or participate in a promotion, Revlon may collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and other information you provide. We use this information to administer your participation in the contest, sweepstakes or promotion.

Employment: PII submitted to Revlon in connection with employment inquiries or job applications (including information contained in a resume or online job application) will be used only by Revlon and its employees, agents, independent contractors and/or other third parties for the purpose of processing and responding to your inquiry and/or job application for current and future career opportunities.

Refer-a-Friend: The Revlon Site may permit you to send emails to others, such as sending a job to a friend. This feature requires you to submit your name and email address, as well as the email address of the recipient. We do not use the names or email addresses submitted in these circumstances for any other purpose without the consent of you or the email recipient to do so. Please ensure that you only submit email addresses of individuals with whom you have a personal or family relationship and who would want to receive the email.


We will not disclose, trade, rent, sell or otherwise transfer your personal information, without your consent, except as otherwise set out herein.

Service Providers: Certain services may be provided on behalf of Revlon by our affiliates and other third parties, including without limitation, sub-contractors, authorized vendors, and fulfillment companies, and Revlon may provide your PII to such third parties in order to deliver the requested service to you. Revlon may also share your PII with third party service providers, such as data processors, companies who send emails on our behalf, customer support specialists, Web hosting companies, etc. These affiliates and other service providers are given the information they need to perform their designated functions and are not authorized to retain, share, store or use your PII for any purposes other than to provide the services for which they have been hired to provide. 

Your PII may be transferred to, stored at, and otherwise processed in a destination outside Canada, including in the United States, by Revlon, its affiliates and other third party service providers. It may also be processed by staff operating outside Canada, including in the United States, who work for Revlon or for one of Revlon’s third party service providers, for the purposes set out above. Revlon will take all steps reasonably necessary in an effort to ensure that your PII is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Sale of Business: Revlon may transfer, sell, assign or otherwise dispose of or encumber PII to third parties in connection with the sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of all or substantially of the assets, bankruptcy, reorganization or liquidation of Revlon.

Legal/Compliance: Revlon, its Canadian, US and other affiliates and service providers may disclose PII when required or permitted to do so under applicable Canadian, US or other foreign law, including but not limited to complying with a legal requirement, judicial proceeding court order, search warrant or other legal process served on us (which may include disclosure pursuant to lawful access request by US or other foreign courts, government institutions or law enforcement); to an investigative body in the case of a  possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft or other contravention of law; or when we believe it is appropriate to do so to protect the rights, property, or safety of our company or other persons. 

You may at any time tell us that you: i) would like to access, review, or update your PII in Revlon’s custody or control by following the directions in Section VII. “Accessing, Updating, or Your PII”; or ii) would like to opt-out of receiving marketing emails or postal mail from Revlon by following the directions in Section VIII. “Opting Out Of Receiving Information From Revlon”.



We or our service providers may also use a technology known as "cookies" (or any other technology now existing or hereafter developed providing similar tracking benefits to Revlon) to help you travel through the Revlon Sites and other Web sites linked to the Revlon Sites more easily and to help us understand how you and others use the Revlon Sites and other Web sites linked to the Revlon Sites. Specifically, we may use cookies (or such other technology) to: i) customize your visitation and experience on the Revlon Sites and other Web sites linked to the Revlon Sites; and ii) provide you with custom-tailored content.. We also use cookies on the pages on the Revlon Sites where you are prompted to log in or that are customizable. Collection and Use of IP Addresses and Other Website Information

In general, you can visit the Revlon Sites without telling us who you are or submitting any personal information. However, we collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to the Revlon Sites and other related information such as page requests, domain name of the Web site from which you linked to the Revlon Sites, browser type, operating system, Site pages most frequently accessed, and average time spent on our sites. We use this information to help us understand activity on the Revlon Sites, and to monitor and improve the Revlon Sites. An IP address is a number assigned to your computer by a web server when you are on the web. When you are on our Site, we have a back-end server that logs your computer's IP address. We only use the information we find out from tracking IP addresses in the aggregate, such as how many users entered a specific area of our Site, and not to track a specific IP address to identify an individual user. However, to the extent permitted by law, we reserve the right to use such information to identify a user if safety and/or security issues arise or to comply with legal requirements.


We and our third party service providers (such as Google Analytics) may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to gather and analyze information about user behavior and interaction with our Sites (such as the areas that you visit on the Revlon Sites). When you provide information from your social media account, we may use this information to personalize your experience on the Revlon Sites and on the third-party social networking websites, plug-ins and applications, and to provide you with other products or services you may request.


The security of your PII is important to us. We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards in an effort to protect against unauthorized access, use, modification and disclosure of PII in our custody and control. We restrict access to your PII to employees and authorized service providers who need to know that information in order to provide services on our behalf. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we implement reasonable safeguards in an effort to protect your PII, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Your online access to certain of your personal information may be protected with a password you select. We strongly recommend that you do not disclose your password to anyone. Revlon will never ask you for your password in any unsolicited communication (such as letters, phone calls or email messages).


In an attempt to enhance the experience of visiting the Revlon Sites, Revlon may choose to link the Revlon Sites to various third party Web sites. However, Revlon may have no control over the acts or omissions of these linked Web sites, who each should have their own privacy policy and data collection practices, independent of Revlon and the Revlon Sites. Revlon has no liability or responsibility whatsoever for these linked Web sites or for their policies, practices and content. Revlon provides these links for the convenience of the visitors to the Revlon Sites and such visitors access these sites at their own risk. Revlon is concerned about the safety of children when they use the Internet. However, the Revlon Sites are neither directed nor targeted to children under 18 years old (or under the age of majority in the user’s jurisdiction of residence). Revlon has no intention to knowingly collect any PII from individuals under the age of 18 years. If Revlon learns that a child under the age of 18 years has provided PII to the Revlon Sites without verifiable parental consent, Revlon will use commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from its databases. If you believe your child, who is under 18, has submitted PII to the Revlon Sites, please contact us via one of the methods described on our Contact Us page or as set out below. If you are under the age of 18, you should use the Revlon Sites only with the involvement of a parent or guardian and should not submit any PII to us. You have the right to access, update, and correct inaccuracies in your PII in our custody and control, subject to certain exceptions prescribed by law. You may request access, updating and corrections of inaccuracies in other PII we have in our custody or control by emailing or writing to us at the contact information set out below. We may request certain personal information for the purposes of verifying the identity of the individual seeking access to their personal information records.

Please note that if you ask us to remove your PII from our database, we may, however, maintain your name or other necessary PII in a "do not mail" file to help us ensure that we can honor your request.


If you signed-up to receive marketing e-mails or other communications from Revlon and would like to stop receiving such messages, please let us know by i) contacting us through one of the methods described on our Contact Us page ii) by clicking on the unsubscribe link within any marketing e-mail you receive from us; or iii) by unselecting the subscribe box on your online account profile page. Please note that such requests may take up to ten (10) days to become effective. Please note that if you unsubscribe from receiving marketing and promotional communications you may continue to receive certain transactional messages from us.
